With the user-friendly RideBoom mobile app, individuals choose where they want to be picked up and their destination with the built-in online map. Locations are entered manually to avoid any confusion. The app will display the closest driver to the customer’s location with the desired type of vehicle, along with an estimated pick-up time.

Riders tap the “Ride Now” tab to complete the booking process through secure authentication. Individuals can connect in real-time with the driver, but all riders’ mobile numbers remain hidden. The app then allows individuals to track their ride, its progress toward their location, and receive SMS alerts and notifications.

One of the major advantages to RideBoom is that there is no surge pricing during peak hours. Riders able to pay by cab charge and the included auto fare feature enables riders to estimate their cost prior to scheduling the ride. Transportation can be scheduled for the present or prescheduled for a later time.
