Chandigarh: Punjab Health Minister Balbir Sidhu launched ‘Ambulance Aapke Dwar‘ in Punjab through Ride Boom Mobile App. Launching the first mobile app-based ambulance and taxi service, the minister said that it would be a boon for patients. It will enhance the health infrastructure of Punjab and create much-needed employment for the youth.
RideBoom founder CEO Harminder Malhi said that “It is our priority to provide RideBoom services through ambulance and taxi app at safe, hygienic and reasonable prices. RideBoom promises to provide clean vehicles, ambulances, and only professional drivers. There are many more security features in RideBoom app. Another security feature in this app is the redder-light icon button. This button is like a small red-light icon, it will connect the call to the police. He said that over time RideBoom will be introduced in other cities of Punjab.
Ride Boom founder Harminder Malhi said that ambulance drivers charge arbitrary prices from people in adverse conditions. This service has been started with the help of Crafd. Tricity’s 200 ambulance drivers have been connected to this app made in Australia so far. This facility will also be available in Mohali and Panchkula. The facility is currently running in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala. This will increase employment on the one hand, and on the other hand, people will get convenience. This facility will be connected to 198 cities of the country. Malhi said that in this app, there is a red-light icon button in addition to travel sharing, gender selection. People will connect with the police as soon as it is pressed.
