At RideBoom, we help connect riders [passengers] with drivers in an instant without the hassle of wait or uncertainty for your ride or any delivery. With our easy-to-use app, passengers or customers get a vehicle or Premium Taxis in two quick taps, while drivers earn more money and a secure future with RideBoom. RideBoom is not a transportation company nor does it employ any drivers. At RideBoom we facilitate a range of cars for hire and delivery including limousines, luxury Premium Taxis and economy cars. The hire prices are very affordable for the luxury they provide. RideBoom App is available in Apple Store and Google Play for down load. Our App can be down loaded anywhere in the world. Passengers can become members from any part of the world.

    2. We do not hold our customers to ransom when they need a vehicle the most. Please pre-book your rides and we will send you a car. We do not charge surge pricing during peak demand times, regardless of whatever the situation may be.
    3. We have uniform pricing and no surge pricing.
    4. The car comes to you right at your doorstep to pick up you and delivery.
    5. Vehicles RideBoom dispatches are high quality, clean and safe vehicles. All our system registered vehicles undergo compulsory annual checks.
    1. Value for money most inexpensive way to use for pickup and drops delivery.
    2. You can use delivery boom cars to pick up food, parcels, documents, parts and deliver to your door steps. we are cheapest and you can find delivery driver any time of the day.
  • Hassle-free payment only if you book car on app:
    1. As you’ve pre-registered your card, all payments and transactions are done in-App except cab charge payment.
    2. No need for you to carry cash or fretting over tips.
    3. We email you a receipt so no more hanging on to scraps of paper either.
    1. Special Facilities for electric wheel chairs and luggage and specific Number of persons, luggage requirements.
    2. Going out for party or function you can book our AID cars can carry 8 passengers.

Is my personal information secure?

We take the security of your personal information very seriously. It is stored securely via certificated encrypting systems and we will follow the RideBoom published privacy policy which is available in our Website. The driver can’t see your mobile number when he or you contact him or her we use hidden number secure system.

We also use PCI compliant service payment provider who meets all safety regulations according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to store your credit card information. And if you think that sounds all official and very secure, that’s because it is.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to download, there are no hidden charges.
There is a fare estimator in the App. This provides an estimate of the fare before you make booking. However, actual fare may vary depending on road traffic conditions, delays and the like, which cannot be estimated beforehand. The fares are very affordable.

We provide the most inexpensive rides during the peak period compared to others.
Our drivers will wait 10 minutes for free when they arrive at the pickup location and advise you of their arrival using the ‘Arrival Alert’ system. You need to keep you mobile phone switched on to receive this notification. However, you may directly contact the Driver and make mutually suitable time arrangements if you so desire. The Driver’s mobile number will be sent to you with the booking conformation.

Can I come and work at RideBoom?

Yes, you can pay by cab charge in rideboom car but cash is only if you make booking by phone call.

Getting started


How do I download the RideBoom app?


  • The RideBoom App can be down loaded from Apple Store [IOS version] or Google Play [Android]. Just go to these stores and type ‘Rideboom’ and down load.
  • Alternatively, you may down load our App via our website.

Is the app free to download?

  • Yes, it is free to down load. So are all future revisions.

The RideBoom service


Can I pay by credit or debit card for?

The payments are only by credit cards nominated during registering with us. You don’t need to carry any cards as payments will be deducted automatically. If your debit card is used as a credit card, then it can be used during the registration process.


Can I pay by cab charge?

You can pay by cab charge card only if you select pay by cab charge at the time of booking the driver perform the transaction of your card.

What is the minimum fare?

The minimum charge is different for each car service you have to look in our website.


I'm going to the airport; can I use RideBoom?

Yes indeed. You can use the App to book cars on ‘Ride Later’ (advance booking). Alternatively, you can use ‘Ride Now’ booking if you are ready to travel immediately via our mobile App.


Can I book by calling a phone number?

You can we are going to provide this service for short time only. RideBoom App (both Ride Now booking and Ride later)

Can I book a ride for a friend?

Yes, you can. It will be best if you ask your friend to register with RideBoom to avoid any booking confusions.


Will my driver wait for me?

Yes your driver will wait a maximum period of 10 minutes from the time he arrive at the pick-up location. The waiting time charges will start after 5 min He will alert you as soon as he arrives at the pick-up location. Please communicate with the driver via the mobile phone if you are going to get late. We would have sent you his mobile phone at the time of booking confirmation.

Ordering a RideBoom ride or Delivery


How do I request a car?

It is very easy. You may book the car by registering as a rider and use our App for Ride Now booking (if you are ready to go now) or Ride Later (Ride Later), if you want to travel any time in advance of 2 hours to 7 days. Advance bookings also can be made via our web site. Our services are available for only registered users.


Can I request a Premium Taxis instead of a hire car?

Yes indeed. We have a wide choice of cars to select from. You can request a Premium Taxis and we can provide one if available through RideBoom.


Should I tip my driver? How much?

No there is no need for tipping the driver. However, due to his / her exceptional services you wish to tip, you may do so. The amount is entirely up to you. However, we would recommend that you limit your tips to no more than 20% of the actual fare. You can pay him cash or by card (if he can accept cards).


I've moved from my booked pickup location, what do I do? 

Yes we can deal with this change in location request by requesting you to cancel your booking and rebook if your relocation is significantly far away from your booked pick-up location. If you cancel, then cancellation charges may apply. Please refer to our cancellation policy and charges.
Alternatively, you may contact your driver and speak to him and he may agree to pick you up at an alternate location.

How do I contact my driver?

Yes you can contact your driver by the contact details provided by RideBoom at the time of your ride confirmation. You may call him directly and discuss if you need any variations. Our drivers are very compliant and more than likely will oblige any reasonable requests you may have.

I have special pick up requirements, what do I do?

Yes, we can cater for special requirements when you make Advance Bookings wheel chair transport and many luggage.


I can't find my car?

No problems. Please call your driver on his mobile phone number we have provided to you. If he is getting late, he will let you know straight away. We have requested all our drivers to make contact with customers in the event that they have issues, delays etc. to keep the customers at all times.


When do I pay the driver?

There are no payments to be made to the Driver unless you make your booking by phone or selecting the option pay by cab charge. On completion of the trip, the driver will invoke trip completion on his phone and the fare will be automatically deducted from your nominated credit card that you nominated during the registration process.


The app isn't finding my exact location - what do I do?

Please log out of the RideBoom system and log-in again. If this does not work please let us know via e-mail stated in our Contact Us section


Why should I rate my driver?

It is up to you to decide what number of stars you would give. Best service attracts 5 stars and poor service one star. If you have a problem with the driver and you have given poor rating, please let us know why you have done so. We will endeavour to rectify the issue and ensure as soon as possible. Please use our Contact Us section.


How do I know which car is for me?

You would have been notified you of your car and driver details when we confirmed your booking.


Can I cancel my car?

Yes of course. Please check the cancellation terms and conditions in our web site.


What are your cancellation fees?

Please read our cancellation policy and terms and conditions. The cancellation charges are different for ‘Ride Now’ bookings and Ride Later.


I'm stuck up, how long will the car wait for me?

The car will wait up to 10 minutes from your nominated pick-up time or up to 10 minutes from the time the driver has arrived at your pick-up location (which ever comes later). The Driver will wait until this time and start the trip in the App. If you are going to be late, please contact the Driver and let him know. This will avoid your trip being started without you or cancelled because you did not turn up on time.


If my friends or I accidently cause damage to the hire car or Premium Taxis what should I do?

You are liable to pay for rectification of the damage or clean up-bill and must pay the Driver. For Example if you vomit in the car after a night out, you will be required to pay for the clean-up of the car. If you also cause damage to the car due to your fault, you have to pay the driver to repair the car.

If I book a car for my friends and there is damage to the car I am I still responsible and liable to pay for damages?

Yes, you are liable to pay as you are the hirer of the car.

My Account

How do I add a credit or debit card?

Easy. Just log into your account and change the details


Can I claim back VAT on my trip?


Please contact your accountant to clarify this. We do not provide any advice on your personal circumstances.


I have a question about charges on my account

Please contact us via our Contact Us section. We will address as soon as possible.

How do I set my auto tip?

There is no need to tip our drivers. You want to tip drivers, then please do so directly with the driver. RideBoom system has no provision for accepting tips to pay to drivers.

I enjoyed RideBoom, how can I spread the word?

Please do spread the word through social media, provide your comments to us via Contact Us section, and just ask your friends and family to register for RideBoom services.


Can I view previous journeys?

Yes you can. This is available in your area.


I've changed my phone number; how do I update the app?

Yes, you can change this by logging into your area and change the information.


I'd like to use a different email address; how can I change the one I have registered?

Yes, you can change this by logging into your area and change the information.

How do I change my password?

Yes, you can change this by logging into your area and change the information.


I'd like to use a different credit card?

Yes, you can change this by logging into your area and change the information.

I have a question about my journey


I got in the wrong vehicle

We cannot do much about this. You need to ensure that the vehicle that we advised you is the vehicle that you should travel. Please confirm with the driver whether it is the correct ride. It is possible that the driver might be the correct person, but the vehicle may be different because the driver had to change the vehicle due to some other reason. Please communicate with your driver.


Why can't I find any drivers in my area?

Due to heavy demand or your requirement for specific vehicle, we may not be able to fulfil your request. If you try other vehicle type including Premium Taxis, we would be able to find a suitable ride for you. Please check other vehicle types available in our system if your choice is not available.


I cancelled my ride but my card has still been charged


Please refer to our cancellation policy. If we have made an error, your claim is in accordance with the agreed cancellation policy, we will refund any dues to you as soon as possible.

My car has not arrived

This may be possible due to traffic conditions and other circumstances beyond the driver control. Please call your driver and discuss options with him.


The driver had his meter on when I boarded?

There are no meters in RideBoom assignee vehicles. The RideBoom fare is within the App itself. The driver cannot start the trip until you have boarded the vehicle. However, if you are late more than 10 minutes and have not communicated with the driver prior, then the driver may commence the journey without you. If there are any issues, please take it up with the Driver. If you are unable to resolve the issue directly with Driver, please reach out to us via the Contact Us section


My card was charged but my car never arrived?

Please ensure that you have communicated with your Driver. Please read our cancellation policy and ‘No show’ policy. Any issues, please communicate with us via Contact Us section


I have a question about my fare

Our fare structure is provided in the App. Please also read the Terms and Conditions in which we provide more information on fares. Please Contact Us via Contact Us section if you have further queries.


I've been charged for a journey I don't remember

Your journeys are listed within your area in the App. Please reconcile accordingly.


I've left something in a Premium Taxis, how can I get it back?

Please contact the Driver and get him to return or check. We cannot take responsibility for this.


I forgot to rate my driver, can you do it on my behalf?


Unfortunately, we cannot.


I’ve forgotten something on the way to the airport. Will my driver turn back?

Yes of course. You will incur additional charges as we do not provide fixed fee service.


I have a complaint about my driver. What can I do?

Please rate him accordingly. Also please send us an e-mail and we will investigate. Please contact us via Contact Us section.

I have a problem with my RideBoom app

My app doesn't open, what should I do?

Please re-down load the App and try again. It should work.


I can't login - what do I do?


Please send us a message via our Contact Us section. We will investigate and perhaps reset your password and advise you.


The app says I'm logged in on another device?

You can be logged on only on one device at any one time. Please log off from other device.


The app can't locate me?

Please re-log in and try again. As long as your log on credential is correct, this issue should not arise. Please contact us via Contact Us section.

My app has crashed or frozen, what do I do?

Please log off and log on again the mobile phone and then try to log on to the RideBoom App.

Ride Later

What is RideBoom Ride Later?

Ride Later is same as advance booking, Pre-booking. This is a service we provide so that you could book ahead of time and have the peace of mind that vehicle will arrive when you really need the vehicle. You can only advance book 2 hours to 7 days prior to your pick up time. Please do not forget to read our cancellation policy before you pre-book.


How does pre-booking work?

You just select ‘Ride Later’ in your app or in the website, nominate time and place of pick-up and any special requirements

When can I pre-book?

You can pre-book any time between 2 hours and 7 days prior to the pick-up time.


Is there a minimum fare on pre-booked trips?

Yes.

Is there a booking fee?

No there are no booking fees.

How much does the service cost?

Our fare estimator provides an estimate of the fare. We do not have fixed fare service.

Are there set fares?

No there are no set fare provision within our App currently.

Can I pay by cash?

yes, you can pay by cash only if you book car by call to one of our partner service providers.

Can I choose my vehicle type? 
 


Yes, you can choose your Vehicle type. If we cannot find a suitable vehicle, we will give you the option to change the vehicle type so that we are able to serve you.

Can I pre-book to go to the airport?

Yes of course.

Can I pre-book a wheelchair accessible Taxis? 
 

Yes, you can select our AID VAN car type. Our drivers will help you to board and un-board the vehicle.

Can I pre-book for others?


Yes of course. You can pre-book as many vehicles you need. However, all notifications will be issued to you. It may be wise for them to register with RideBoom directly. Multiple bookings are not available in Ride Now booking case.

When will I receive my driver’s details?


As soon as the RideBoom system finds a driver that has accepted your booking, our system will provide you with Driver contact details. You may immediately contact your driver.


What if I need to change the details of my journey?


Yes, you can change your journey. You will need to cancel and book again. Please read our cancellation policy before you make a cancellation.

What happens if my driver arrives early?

Please always contact driver and check his expected time of arrival at least ½ hour before the pick-up time. You are not obliged to start the journey any earlier than your nominated pick-up time. The driver will not start the journey before the pick-up time.

What happens if my driver doesn't arrive at my requested time?

Please always contact driver and check his expected time of arrival at least ½ hour before the pick-up time. This will give you enough time to cancel the journey and re-book another vehicle.


How do I cancel a Pre-booked trip?

It’s easy, just press ‘Cancel’. Please read the cancellation terms and conditions before you do so.

Bookings from Interstate and Overseas - Ride Later

Are there any provisions for me to book rides from interstate or overseas?

Yes indeed. We are the only company in the world that allows you to make ‘Ride Later’ from anywhere in the world to obtain services in cities where we are present. At the time of making the booking, you can select the city, and local time for pickup. We will ensure our professional driver will be there to pick you up and take you to your destination. The payment for the ride is automatically deducted from your credit card. You do not need to worry about finding Premium Taxis at the airport.
